EXHIBITION IN THE TORTOSA LIBRARY: "THE WAY OF Hinduism: KUMBH MELA"

When I arrived from India, I met the people at Di-Llums d'Arts al Forn, and among them was Irene Prades from the Library of Tortosa, who told me about an exhibition about the trip. Once the photos were sorted and with the clear message of what I wanted to show, the exhibit was ready! Nothing was in the Quinquenal celebrations of Ulldecona and during the month of October it will be in the Marcel·lí Domingo Library in Tortosa.

India had always caught my attention, it was one of the places I wanted to, you can imagine, but you don't live until you are there. At last I went this February, taking advantage of the largest religious pilgrimage in the world, the Kumbh Mela, where up to 120 million people attend! Do you realize how Hinduism marks their lives, and what it is: a way of life or a religion?

India is amazed by its colors, its intense street life, its smells, its food and especially its people. From here, I want to show a photo collection with an exhibition that you can see in the Marcel·lí Domingo de Tortosa Library, from October 1 to 31, from Monday to Friday from 16:30 to 20:30, on Tuesday mornings and Thursday from 10:00 to 13:30 and Saturdays from 10:00 to 13:30.

I thank Irene and all the Library staff for the opportunity to show this very personal work in Tortosa, and also to Bul for the poster.

Photographic exhibition at Ulldecona: "The path of Hinduism: Kumbh Mela"

One of the places where I always wanted to go was in India, you can imagine it, but do not live it until you're there. Finally I went this February, taking advantage of the largest religious pilgrimage in the world, Kumbh Mela, where 120 million people attend! India is surprised by its colors, its intense life on the street, its smells, food and especially its people. From here, I want to show a photographic gathering at the Ulldecona Quinquennals Festivities, an exhibition that you can see at the Tourist Office from September 7 to 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Sundays only in the morning.

I would like to thank Carme Fernàndez for the opportunity to show this work so personal in the Ulquicentennial Quinquennals. Hope you see it!
