One of the places that you recommend visiting Melbourne is the Great Ocean Road, where the 12 Apostles are rocky rock formation.
You can go for free by car, but as I am traveling alone and with public transport, I hired a tour with the Peterpans agency, which has organized the trip to Australia.
Australia is bigger than Europe, and if you want to visit much of the island, you have to organize yourself, because the distances are very long.
The Great Ocen Road crosses about 200 kilometers along the coast of the state of Victoria where you see immensity of fields with cows and sheep, and you understand why there is so much meat in supermarkets coming from here and from New Zealand: they have large expansions of field where they can graze and much of herd.
We arrived at the 12 Apostles, I was much more impressed by Clifs of Moher in Ireland. Also the light did not accompany, since it made cloud.
Then we go to another point, where there is a beautiful beach closed by two mountains. The precipices that are formed are impressive!
Again on the bus we stopped in the jungle, in search of coals, but I could not see any. Thus we still find dense vegetation and trees of more than 200 years of life, with logs that have very different forms.
At last, the koales!
We’re heading to a campsite, and just down people are looking over the trees, if up to 4 coals we see! Two eating and two sleeping, pity that they are upstairs.
In this camping the animals live with people: you eat the parrots in your hand! And with a waterfall we return to Melbourne!
With this post we already leave Melbourne and we go to Canberra, the political capital of Australia.
